Shipping & Packaging
When it comes to shipping goods around the UK, across Europe and internationally, proper packaging isn’t just a consideration—it’s a necessity. At TQ Express, we specialise in packaging services for road freight, sea freight and air freight, including UN-approved packaging for dangerous goods shipping and compliance with ISPM15 standards, ensuring that your cargo is transported safely and in full adherence to global regulations.
Dangerous goods are defined as “items or substances that have the potential to pose a risk to health, safety, property, or the environment.” As such, they must be carefully handled, packaged, and transported in full compliance with the applicable legal and regulatory requirements for the chosen mode of transportation.

The Importance UN

UN-approved packaging is designed to protect the goods themselves during transit as well as the environment and the people, irrespective of the mode of transport. Our dangerous goods packaging is rigorously tested to withstand impacts, leaks, and temperature changes, ensuring the safe shipping and transport of dangerous goods and hazardous materials.

Our ADR transport dangerous goods service includes professional packing and certification in compliance with the applicable Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR). What is ISPM?
ISPM stands for International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures, a global standard established to prevent the spread of pests and diseases through wooden packaging materials used in international trade. The most widely recognized ISPM standard is ISPM 15, which mandates the treatment and marking of wooden packaging materials, such as pallets and crates, to eliminate harmful organisms.
At TQ Express, we ensure that any wooden packaging we provide for export complies with ISPM 15, reducing the risk of shipment delays, rejections, or fines due to non-compliance.
